My Favourite Famous Scientist

 WALT- Identify a famous scientist and understand their scientific achievements. 

I made this google drawing about David Attenborough, with his full name, date and place of birth, work, early life, and some fun facts about him. 

Idiom Story

WALT- plan your writing following a narrative structure  

I learnt about idioms. This is the short, funny story I made with my friends with idioms in it.

Reflection- It was fun to write the story, but it was hard to find places to put the idioms in. 

6 sentence story

 WALT- plan your writing following a narrative structure 

Reflection- I found it fun to write my 6 sentence story and draw the pictures. I wish I didn't make it more than 6 sentences. 

Jazz my Sentence Slides

I looked at the sentences on the google slide and jazzed them up by putting in adjectives, onomatopoeia, verbs and other things that make the sentence more interesting.

Reflection- I liked making the fireworks sentence more interesting because it is fun to describe fireworks. I found it hard to do the car sentence.

Density

 WALT- Observe how an egg reacts in fresh vs salt water to understand the concept of density.

My class did a egg in water experiment. We got a jar of water and a fresh egg. Next we predicted if the egg would float or sink in the water. When we put the egg in the water and it sank. Then we added 175g of salt into the water and the egg floated. 

I learnt that the egg floated in the salt water because the salt water has more density than the egg. With the fresh water, the egg had more density, so it sank.

Science

WALT- Identify our prior knowledge about science

I think that science is a way of discovering and learning things about the world. Some types of science I know is biology, chemistry, and geology.

In science, I want to do lots of fun experiments.
