WALT: connect with our local environment and improve our surfing skills so that we can surf like professionals.
On Wednesday, my class and Kotuku class went surfing at Taupo Bay. The NZ Surf Academy helped us if we were struggling to stand up. I stood up 20-30 times altogether. It was all fun apart from the fact that the water was freezing cold.
1st star: It was fun playing on the beach while Kotuku class surfed.
2nd star: It was fun standing up
Wish: I wish that the water wasn't so cold.
